Plastic Injection Mould Tool Manufacture

Low Volume Production Mould Tools, 1000 to 100,000 production runs

High quality pre-toughened P20 tool steel is the material of choice for the manufacture of low volume production injection mould tools. Low volume injection mould tools are ideal for thousands to hundreds of thousands of production runs.

High Volume Production Mould Tools

A fully hardened H13 steel injection mould tool is required for full production runs. Moulds are heat treated between 48 and 52 Rockwell-C (HRC) after bulk material removal, giving superior wear resistance and lifespan.

Die Casting Tool Manufacture

For most pressure die casting tools, H13 steel moulds are heat treated between 42 and 48 Rockwell-C (HRC).
