Precision Engineering

Talke Tooling Ltd produces prototype and batch production of precision machined components in a variety of engineering materials. Our experienced toolmakers offer CNC machining, milled components, turned components, surface grinding and EDM spark erosion. All of our work is thoroughly inspected on site and we can provide certificates for all our materials.

CNC Machining

Talke Tooling Ltd has recently increased its CNC machining capacity with a new Hurco VMX42T vertical machining centre. The high performance VMX42T has a travel of 1,067 x 610 x 610 mm.

Milling

CNC milling enables our toolmakers to accurately machine your parts from the stock material of your choice with a fast turnaround. 2D and 3D shapes are easily produced to high standards of precision and surface finish. Our CNC milling machines are programmed offline using Delcam’s PowerMILL.

Turning

Our CNC lathes allow high quality precision turning of a variety of metals and engineering polymers. Components with complex external profiles, screw cutting and internal bores are quickly and accurately produced. Our turning capacity ranges from one offs to batch production with the addition of a bar pull on our new Hurco TM6 turning centre reducing machine standby time. Maximum turning diameter of 400 mm.

Finishing

Here at Talke Tooling Ltd we pay close attention to detail in finishing your components to the highest possible standards. We offer a wide range of finishing services, including surface grinding, polishing, EDM spark erosion, engraving, knurling and a variety of surface coatings.
